Welcome to Driving Life Skills Australia

Responsibility. Safety. Attitude.

Driving Life Skills Australia is a national provider of vehicle safety training. We offer compliance assessments, public speaking, and vehicle evaluations. We have more than 14 years of diversified experience and a passionate team of trainers Australia wide. We pride ourselves on keeping our customers safe, happy, and well informed about every decision, every step of the way.

Our main products are Corporate Training Packages, Community Youth Training Days, vehicle trailer or caravan towing courses, and Learner Driving Lessons. We offer many more products that can be tailored to suit your needs, it takes just one phone call, email, or SMS to find out how we can help you.

A national training provider with a passion for safety and quality service!

In our approach towards vehicle education and driver education we aim to influence driving emotion and cognition to create low risk driving behaviours. DLSA can create tailored training packages for corporate clients, individuals, and events. Our training courses are modelled around the low risk driving approach designed and implemented by the founder of Driving Life Skills Australia, Scott Bornholm. We are happy to invite all drivers to take up a driving program with us for any training need big or small.

Any company, organisation, or person that utilises a vehicle needs to consider their responsibility in providing vehicle safety and education. Australian drivers need safe driving behaviours and attitudes to conform with other advanced driving nations. As Australian drivers adjust to legal obligations regarding the chain of responsibility and driver fatigue education in these areas is evident.

DLSA is proud to provide the iDrive community course which not only teaches young drivers how to drive, rather, it focuses on educating students to become safer, more competent and efficient drivers by using active learning methods and self-reflection. We provide training courses for all drivers, full or probationary licences, corporate, learner permits, overseas licences, or taxi driver assessments. If you have a specific training requirement we will endeavour to accommodate your needs.

We have a Patreon page for our community courses! All profits and donations for our community courses are reinvested into future courses. We thank you for your support with our community courses. Visit www.patreon.com/DrivingLife

Community Awareness

Driving Life Skills Australia provides community safety courses for rural and isolated areas throughout Australia. Our most popular (and we believe most important) community course, the iDrive - Youth Driver Awareness Course, is presented to young drivers 16 - 26 years of age throughout regional Australia with the help of community members and community conscious groups. Our second most popular program for regional areas is the trailer and caravan towing program, which again runs because of the help and support of community groups and members that recognise the importance of safe driving skills in their local community.

Help Fund our Youth Community Course

Can you help to support our community courses? We need your help.

We've been providing community courses for free or at a low cost to local communities for over 10 years. The funds have come directly from my families pockets to support this passion. We've now come to a time where we need your help to make this happen. Help us however you want. Provide through Patreon, donate directly to us, share, like, or comment on our social media. In many places we also need safe training spaces or help to coordinate. Help however you help best.
